THE WAY OUT MINISTRIES FORT WORTH CAMPUSThe Way Out Fort Worth
In August 2022, our Coordinator of Ministry Affairs, Rachel Perez, followed God’s leading and moved with her family from California to Fort Worth, Texas, while continuing to serve The Way Out Ministries remotely. Prior to Rachel’s move, one of our board members—and later, a church member as well—had already relocated to Texas. Looking back, we clearly see how God was aligning each step long before we realized what He was doing.
By January 2025, it had become unmistakably clear that God was calling Rachel and her family to establish a Fort Worth chapter of The Way Out Ministries. With the blessing and support of our Board of Directors, our founders, and many faithful partners, that calling began to take shape.
In September 2025, we received the keys to a local storefront—our future ministry center—and immediately began renovations. Since then, our team and volunteers have poured their hearts, prayers, and hard work into preparing the space for all God intends to do there.
We are thrilled to announce that our official Grand Opening will take place on January 9, 2026. We cannot wait to open our doors, meet our new community, and continue sharing the hope and love of Jesus in Fort Worth.
How We Serve
Physically
We meet urgent needs through our Care Closet—providing food, clothing, hygiene items, and baby essentials. We also offer appointments for referrals to legal aid, shelter, rehab, counseling, mental health services, and job placement.
Where there is a need, there is a way out.
Mentally
Free on-site classes and seminars equip both volunteers and the community with practical tools. Topics include parenting, drug and gang awareness, budgeting, community outreach, grief support, and CPR certification.
Emotionally & Spiritually
As a Christian ministry, we address the emotional and spiritual needs often overlooked elsewhere. As our Fort Worth location grows, we will continue connecting people with caring local churches and offering programs that nurture healing, hope, and spiritual growth.
