Help us with hands on ministry by becoming a Way Out Ministries partner and volunteer

Volunteer Information
Volunteers are the heartbeat of The Way Out Ministries. Each year individuals and volunteer groups come to our campus from surrounding cities and all over the United States. Interns, missionaries, youth groups, college service organizations, and adult missions teams have all contributed to this vital work in L.A.’s inner-city of Hawaiian Gardens.

Service groups have contributed to the enhancement of our facility by building a new deck for our Youth, renovating ministry rooms, building closets, storage facilities, and even adding a new recording studio (higher ground studios). Doors have been hung, cabinets have been made, cement has been mixed and poured, and volunteers have done painting, gardening, and cleaning freely. To tour the campus of The Way Out Ministries is a marvel of volunteerism.

Short-term volunteers have also helped us implement ministry throughout the years by engaging in our programming to the community. Individuals, interns and mission teams have staffed our Summer Fun programs, camps, and community outreaches. Each year volunteers also serve hundreds of dinners at our Thanksgiving banquet and food distribution programs. Emergency care packages have also been prepared by volunteers to aid the homeless.

Program volunteers help to run our weekly children and youth clubs, after school tutoring, and adult ministries.

Office volunteers collate and send off our monthly mailings, organize files and storage areas, answer phones and solicit donations.
