INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

International Outreach –The Way Out Ministries is proud to be an International Ministry as we reach across the world into the Philippines.  At a special meeting of the Board of Directors on June 28, 2022, it was unanimously decided to file an application with the government of the Philippines. We are now have a non-stock Christian ministry organization operating with a business license in Occidental Mindoro, San Jose as The Way Out Ministries, Philippines (TWOP) located at 10 Lukban Brgy. 8, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, 5100 Philippines.  God is blessing us as we move forward in ministry, both in Occidental Mindoro and into other regions of the Philippines as well.

The international arm of ministry is the result of God-ordained relationships formed with Filipino believers, designated donations and properties given specifically for work in the Philippines. In January 2023, Pastor Barry and Terryl Bruce (founders) visited the Philippines for the first time.  While in San Jose our first two full-time employees were hired. Divina Canapit became the Director of TWOP and her son Mark was also hired to be the ministries’ Director of Facilities. Currently, Mark is overseeing construction projects for TWOP in San Jose. Our newly reenovated headquarters and ministry center is located in the heart of the city and our church is located on the beach.  Chapel By The Beach–is the newly branded mission church of TWOP which meets every Sunday and offers other ministries throughout the week at a church structure on the beach.

Please pray for Divina and Mark and TWOP board of Directors as they labor for the Lord to call a permanent pastor, strengthen and support our established volunteer base of believers, and reach out to the Filipino people that we have been called to serve.  Pray also for our successful building projects and new financial partners that will keep this ministry doing the work of the Lord in the Philippines.  

Pastor Barry (CEO of The Way Out Ministries International)  will be bringing our first U.S. Mission team to San Jose —October 8-17.  The 13 member team will be sharing the gospel through drama,  music, testimony, preaching and food distribution in five locations.  The team will also be building game equipment and bringing supplies to TWOP.  This will be the first of many mission teams to come through The Way Out Ministries International to its ministry in the Philippines.  Please pray for them!
