Inner-City Youth
The Way Out Ministries has always placed our city's youth as a high priority in ministryZion Youth is a Jr. High Sr. High School after-school Bible study program and support group for at-risk youth – full of great activities, game tables, special outings, Bible study and free great food! We meet every Monday night from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Kids Club/Victors and Survivors is a weekly after- school program full of recreation, crafts, snacks and Bible study Tuesdays from 4pm-5:30pm for ages 4-3rd grade.
Homework Club is a weekly toutoring club for Elementary students needing help with weekly homework assignments. Tuesdays 5pm-6pm.
Pastoral Counseling We also offer pastoral counseling by appointment for any youth in need.
Youth Social Service We are able to connect TAY (transitional age youth) with services through Jovenes, a program of Los Angeles County. In addition, we work with a local youth shelter, Casa Youth Shelter, which offers temporary housing for youth, counseling, parenting and family reunification classes.
