 What happens when a child grows up without a father, surrounded by pain, addiction, and street life? For Gabriel, the answer used to be depression, gangs, and hopelessness. But through the love of Jesus and the community at The Way Out Ministries, everything changed.

When Gabe was five, his father walked out. By middle school he was battling depression, and had lost all hope, but one birthday invitation changed everything.

At The Way Out Ministries, Gabe found what he had been searching for his whole life: love, family, and Jesus.

“I thought I was too tough to cry… but God humbled me, and I finally felt peace.”
