Turner High School is more than reading, writing and arithmetic because of the programs we can offer through our dedicated staff and volunteers who carry out our mission.

Students at Turner High are able to see some of the classic
literature they read come to life through watching live theater.
So much more learning can take place when classes are small. You won't find over crowded classrooms at Turner High. Each student gets the instruction and attention he or she needs from their teachers. We have found time after time that students who struggled in the public school system excel at Turner High. "It's different here!" exclaimed alumni '05, Jerry Sanchez. "Teachers really care about their students and go out of their way to help them succeed!"

"Teachers really care about their students."
Turner High's innovative four day school schedule rewards students who excel with a "day off" and gives struggling students an extra day for tutoring. Along with the regular education requirements prescribed by the State, Christian principles are also applied in each area of study. A track of Bible credits and regular chapel meetings make the difference at Turner High. When a young man or woman graduates, he or she will understand God's Word and its importance for living.
We are able to financially accomplish our mission because of the faithful generosity of the Church, Christian organizations, and the benevolent hearts of our teachers and staff. Our partnerships provide monthly scholarship for each enrolled student. All that we ask in return is that parents pay their adjusted tuition payments of $75.00 per month (An education like this is normally five times this amount.), and that students and parents meet the school's standards. Our partners and staff are deeply committed to youth and their education. All of our teachers are paid reduced salaries, and some take no salary at all for the cause of our mission.

Beyond Graduation
When graduation comes, and it is time for one of our "eagles" to leave the nest, our staff continues to direct students into college, trade school, or other future avenues until they are able to "fly" on their own.
Students often return to Turner High to get help in their college studies from our dedicated staff, to use our computer lab and library, or to continue to grow in their spiritual walk and give back to other students through our volunteer opportunities.
